Originally from Dublin, Ronan and Rob grew up in countries as diverse as the United States, Australia and Sweden.
While they have collaborated on many crazy ideas since childhood, the short film JELLYBABY was their first as co-directors and proved to be a great success. Screening at over 60 film festivals world wide, JELLYBABY picked up numerous awards including Best Short at the Celtic Film and Television Festival, Best Comedy at the LA Golden Star Shorts Fest and an IFTA nomination.
In 2008 Ronan and Rob made their television debut with AISLING'S DIARY, the first teen drama commissioned for RTE Young People's. They followed up with another short film RUNNERS, a drama funded by the Irish Film Board which won Best Short Film at the 2010 Irish Film & Television Awards.
More recently Ronan and Rob have directed teen comedy/drama FREE REIN for Netflix and many cornerstone episodes of TV3's gritty police drama RED ROCK for Element Pictures and Company Pictures. Further television credits include series 2 of RTE's massive comedy hit DAMO & IVOR, the IFTA winning series THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING WHATEVER for Accomplice, episodes of BAFTA winning series ROY and the complete series of LITTLE ROY for JAM Media and CBBC. In 2014 they released their feature film debut STANDBY, a romantic comedy starring Brian Gleeson and Jessica Pare, funded by the Irish Film Board and the Lux Film Fund and produced by John Wallace under Black Sheep Productions.
Ronan and Rob are currently in post production on the feature film DAMO & IVOR: THE MOVIE.
